A guaranteed original 8x10 lobby card / front of house card from 1980 for Stanley Kubrick's horror masterpiece "The Shining", based on Stephen King's 1977 novel.

Kubrick's direction produced outstanding performances by Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall as the parents of a psychic son who taps in to the evil past of a hotel. The film is now considered one of the greatest horror films ever produced.

With the November 2019 release of a sequel Doctor Sleep, this astonishing film was introduced to a new generation of fans.

This wonderful lobby card captures the iconic "Here's Johnny!" scene, with Wendy Torrance showing absolute terror as her husband smashes down the door! It would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theatre at the time of the film's release.

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
