A guaranteed original British one sheet movie poster from 1972 for Cliff Owens' rag ang bone comedy "Steptoe and Son", starring Wilfrid Brambell, Harry H. Corbett and Carolyn Seymour.

Following the success of their TV series, writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, drop a femme fatale in to Oil Drum Lane, with Harold falling for exotic dancer Zita. Following their marriage, surely Albert can't ruin their Honeymoon and the path of true love?

This is such incredible poster! The amazing artwork is by Italian movie poster legend Arnaldo Putzu. Working in London and highly in demand, he produced posters for the Carry On series and also the iconic Get Carter poster. This is a wonderful piece of art in its own right, capturing Brambell and Corbett's characters beautifully. We absolutely adore it.

It came to us via an archive held at Pinewood Studios and has never been folded. It really is in amazing condition and as our photos show, will look incredible framed and on display.

By the way, remember the theme tune? It is called "Old Ned" and was composed by Ron Grainer, who was also responsible for the equally memorable Doctor Who and Tales of the Unexpected theme tunes!

We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.

Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
